I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2009 with a degree in Journalism and Media Communication… completely and utterly perplexed as to what I wanted to do and totally unsure of my passions in life. So, I ignored the voice in my head that said “You’ll definitely end up homeless, you clueless idiot” and instead got a job in a bar. I realise that it’s not common etiquette to admit you hear voices (and rather impolite ones) but I’m sure I’ll admit to far worse things in the blog.
But with the Eureka moment that writing and travelling were my passions came the next voice “Hey, why don’t you dust off that travel blog you used to keep and give it a little love?” And so, Lucy’smilesaway was officially born.
We are Lina & Dave, a married couple from Wisconsin, USA. We have been traveling internationally since 2001 both solo and together. Most of our travel was done while working full time jobs until we decided we wanted more out of life when we sold our house, all of our things, quit our jobs and left to travel the World for an indefinite amount of time in February 2014.
We are Taran (25) & Hannah (24), and we come from the South Coast in England. After coming together online (it's the modern way!) we had a pretty cool year together before realizing our mutual passion for travelling. As we travel the worldon little more than our wits and a few £s, follow our progress and gain valuable tips and tricks from our travel experiences. Maybe you will be inspired to see a little more of the world than what's just outside your window.
It all started with a couple from Aus, Completing a travel blog simply because. This time a year ago it seemed only dream, For both LJO and LJO distant they seemed. As time part they called each other mate, A relationship beckoned it must have been fate. Now the trip of a lifetime is booked, With one read we will have you hooked. This is meant to be a bit about us, When really its about our ventures on a bus. Lego figures to symbolise who we are, They will travel with us, here and far. In case you didn't know we are off overseas, Where we will write this blog in order to please.

Hi there and thanks for checking out Crazzzy Travel! We are Illia and Nastia - a couple in love with each other and traveling. We've been to 37 countries, and we loved every second of it. You can't even imagine what it took us to be where we are now. Probably like you, we were working full-time at our daily hell jobs, only dreaming to go on a crazzzy adventure. When we were out, it felt even better than we thought.
I like to be lost. I like to be consumed by a place. I like to be moved to laughter, to tears, to questioning. I like to measure life in lessons not numbers. Count countries by moments not lists. To travel as the best version of myself. To learn, respect and appreciate the world my journeys take me through.

Polly embodied everything a true explorer required - her heart was open, her smile infectious and had a presence that could not be ignored. Polly stands here as a reminder to all of us that so many within the travelling community are taken before their time, before their adventures are done, and she really was one of the greats. Her tales hasn't filled websites or been sold to travel magazines far and wide, yet she still has inspired everyone who knew her no matter for how long or closely. She knew how to grasp life with both hands, shake it until it gave her a laugh and then made you laugh too. Trust me, in this career I meet a lot of people who know how to have a good time but Polly topped the list.
Polly - you now have the stars to explore and a sky to party in. Use the Northern Lights as your dance floor and the storms as your tunes. You've touched every person you met and the people who love you will feel the emptiness in your wake, but they know that it was better to have loved and lost, than to never had loved you at all.
